  1. Do I need to book a table?

    We recommend booking in advance, particularly at weekends and for evening dining.

  2. Can non-residents dine at the restaurant?

    Yes, our restaurants are open to non-residents, subject to availability.

  3. Is breakfast included in my stay?

    Breakfast is included in most room rates. This will be confirmed at the time of booking.

  4. Can non-residents book breakfast?

    Yes, non-residents are welcome to join us for breakfast, subject to availability. Booking is recommended.

  5. Is there a dress code?

    We’re relaxed and informal, with no strict dress code. Some guests enjoy dressing up a little when dining in 1554 Brasserie, but it’s entirely your choice.

  6. Are dogs allowed in the restaurants?

    Dogs are welcome in designated dining areas. Please speak to the team when booking so we can advise on the best space.

  7. What is your restaurant cancellation policy?

    A credit card is required to secure restaurant bookings (unless you’re staying with us).

    Cancellations or changes should be emailed to alfriston@signet.ltd.

    Cancellations within 24 hours or no-shows may incur a £10 per person charge.
